    • Admit: Floor
    • Diagnosis: Gastroparesis
    • Condition: Stable
    • Vital Signs: Routine.
    • Allergies:
    • Nursing: Finger-stick blood sugar checks per insulin drip protocol
    • Diet: NPO, advance to 5 small ADA low fat meal per day
    • Activity: Out of Bed with Assistance
    • Labs:
      • CBC, Chem, LFTs
      • amylase
      • UA
      • pregnancy test if indicated
    • IV: NS 2 Liters over 4 Hours. Followed by D5 1/2 NS with 20 mEq KCl/L at 125 mL/h
    • Special:
    • Medications:
      • Metoclopramide 10 mg IV q 6 hours
      • Erythromycin 100 mg IV q 8 hours
      • Insulin IV continuous infusion
      • Promethazine 25 mg IV q 6 hours prn nausea/vomiting
      • Ondansetron 8 mg IV q 8 hours prn nausea/vomiting
      • Morphine sulfate 1-3 mg IV q 2 hours prn pain
