    • Condition: Stable
    • Vital Signs: q 4 hours
    • Allergies:
    • Nursing: Weight on admission, strict I/Os
    • Diet: NPO
    • Activity: As Tolerated. Fall Precautions
    • Labs:
      • CBC (initially with diff), Chem, LFTs qday
      • amylase
      • blood cultures x 2
      • EKG
      • RUQ ultrasound, HIDA scan if ultrasound inconclusive
    • IV: NS at 250 mL/h, then Begin D5 1/2 NS at 125 mL/h
    • Special: surg consult for cholecystectomy
    • Medications:
      • Ampicillin 2 g IV q 4 hours
      • Gentamicin 5 mg/kg IV q 24 hours
      • Morphine sulfate 1-5 mg IV q 1 hour prn pain
    • Call HO: HR > 120, SBP < 100, RR > 28, decreasing UO
  • Discharge

    • s/p cholecystectomy
